Recently, our studio has been working on an innovative funding plan to support the growth of our programs and further develop a creative space that welcomes everyone in the community. Cambridge Bay, a community rich with history and tradition, recently celebrated a significant milestone—100 years since its founding. This celebration is a testament to the resilience, creativity, and strength of Inuit culture and heritage. At the heart of this celebration was the opening of a new art and heritage studio, a space that pays homage to Inuit art forms and serves as a cultural hub for both local artists and the broader community.
